Bandit was born on the Ides of March, or 3/15/2015, at Garcin Mcnab Collies. This was the last day we saw Rocky, Bandit’s brother. We got Bandit on 5/16/2015 Saturday, when he was just 9 weeks old. He seemed to take to us immediately, following us everywhere. Bandit immediately showed his exceptional intelligence when we got him home. We were not going to teach him the dog door until he got a little taller, however he immediately stuck his nose into the dog door to see what it was, then put his head through it to see what was on the other side. From that point on he was going in and out of the dog door like he had been doing it his whole life! Within one week, Bandit knew his new name (he responded to “Puppy Puppy” when we got him), he left all of our things alone and only played with toys which came from his toy box, he would come to the shepherd’s whistle (100% of the time), he was about 90% house trained and he would sit and down on command about 50% of the time!! Not bad for one week of training with a 10 week old puppy!!

At 11 weeks he appears to be fully house trained.
